The Top 10 Instagram Fitness Accounts You Need to Follow Today

Looking for new fitness inspiration? Look no further! These 10 Instagram fitness accounts (no they are not sponsored, this is all my personal opinion) have changed the way I work out and have taught me how to love my body again! These accounts are tailored more towards strength-training instead of weight loss. I hope you are able to take advantage of all the awesome workouts they have to offer! I love being able to use these videos to tailor my own workout without having to pay for a personal trainer. Many of them have apps or guides that you can purchase/download as well!

I know what it's like to struggle with weight. I was super skinny at one point and then gained quite a bit of weight in a short amount of time. I coached myself to get back in shape. I know what it's like to be frustrated and impatient. To work a long day and have class to go to and working out sounds miserable. I know the feeling of walking into a gym and feeling lost on what I should do. I didn't hate my body but I knew I could be a healthier version of myself by making healthy choices. So I started with baby steps and I messed up a thousand times but I didn't give up. Not once. Frustrated and annoyed with myself plenty of times lol but didn't give up. I might not be the strongest or leanest or have the best physique out there but I am proud of myself and how far I've come. I competed with MYSELF and I am now a healthier, stronger, more energetic, happier version of myself. I'm just here to say we ALL start somewhere. Take it day by day. Don't beat yourself up if you mess up along your fitness journey. Nobody's path is perfect. All I ask of you is to keep going and moving and fighting. The time will pass anyway so train hard and eat healthy. You got this.๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ

First on the list is Heidi Sommers. Heidi is such a fitness inspiration. As you can see in her before and after pictures, she has transformed her life completely through working out and eating better. She is one who understands the struggles of trying to lose weight and knows what steps to take to get to the next goal. She also owns her own workout clothing line: @buffbunny_collection


Next on the list is Cristina. Cristina is practically Blake Lively’s twin! #jealous ๐Ÿ˜‚ She posts some of the best workout videos. I probably use her’s the most! This ab workout is killer, by the way!

It upsets me so much when I see people making negative comments directed towards someoneโ€™s transformation saying how theyโ€™ve barely changed or it wasnโ€™t hard to accomplish. NO ONE has the right to ever say that to another person ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ . Let me explain why โ˜๐Ÿผ everyone has ups and downs they go through in life. But not everyone has the same ups and downs as someone else nor do they effect you the same as some one else. Bottom line is, just because YOU may think someone hasnโ€™t changed much doesnโ€™t mean they havenโ€™t. You donโ€™t know what someone has been through nor how hard it was for them to get to the point their at, so for anyone to judge someone elseโ€™s transformation is just wrong. . This industry is about bettering ourselves and helping to encourage and better others. Do for others as you would want done for you ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’• . I just think Ashleigh is the cutest little thing! She has her own fitness clothing line as well (@justpeachi)! The clothes are super cute and great quality! She does a great job at letting you know which part of the body her workouts are targeting and shows how to do them very well.


Alyssa is a fellow military spouse! Her hubby is in the Air Force as well! I love how she puts Christ first. She is a wonderful role model for all and is very faith-based. I think that is rare to find with some Instagram fitness girls. Many are practically naked and post super sexy pictures. Alyssa definitely doesn’t focus on that and it’s really an inspiration to see that you can grow to be as successful as she has without flaunting everything you’ve got.

#transformationtuesday 2013โžก๏ธ2018 I๐Ÿ‘๐ŸผDID๐Ÿ‘๐ŸผTHAT๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸผI think a lot of people are confused as to why i make fitness such a huge part of my life, and probably think i am a bit crazy for it. Everyone has different passions and interests, and this just happens to be mine ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ FITNESS HAS LITERALLY CHANGED& IS STILL CHANGING MY LIFE. It is insane to me to watch my body transform over the years as i gain more knowledge of fitness and nutrition and how my body responds when i apply that knowledge๐Ÿง  Through learning, and a lotttttt of trial and error, you can build your body/physique to be whatever you want it to be!!!! The human body is INCREDIBLE and this obviously took a lot of time and hard work but it is the most rewarding feeling to look back and see how much i have transformed both mentally and physicallyโ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ . . . Out of curiosity I looked back in myfitnesspal to 2013 (i didnโ€™t track macros then just my caloric intake) and i was SHOOK to see that my โ€œgoalโ€ intake for myself at the time this first picture was taken, was 1200 calories๐Ÿคฏ I am currently eating double that on a daily basis at maintenance/slight surplus๐Ÿ˜ณI used to essentially starve myself on this low of cals, and would force myself to do cardio like crazy in hope to be skinny. I have talked about this in previous posts but strong>>skinny๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ Take the time and energy to invest in yourself and your health and build the body you have always wanted

Victoria is an Alphalete Athletics athlete and posts in-depth descriptions and videos on her workouts! Due to that, you don’t even need to try and figure out anything. She tells you exactly how many reps and sets to do as well and what equipment to use. I like her page a because it’s mainly about fitness and I can always find something.

SPOT THE DIFFERENCE?๐Ÿค“ Hereโ€™s the thing, maybe you can have your cake and eat it too. โ€” I started this page because I wanted to show others that being healthy can be enjoyable, it can be fun, it can give you energy, and make you happy! โ€” Old me looked at health as being restrictive, a punishment, time consuming, and really nothing it is suppose to be. โ€” But hereโ€™s the thing, my physic isnโ€™t all that different in these pics. Lastly, Mickaela is focused on being your best self. She has a lot of inspirational posts and tries to explain things in a way that many don’t touch on. Her videos are detailed and she also tells you how many reps/sets to do. She really tries to bring forth the message that you are doing your best and this is not an overnight process.
